…on a Ipod 2nd generation the video format of the intro was not recognized and I got a display error message. You should fix it.

Shame I cant give out six stars. Its a pain I live with every day.

Telltale and sandlooper no longer support their hector series as you cant even play it on the new itouch 6 with iOS 9.0....telltale updated/optimized some of their older games, but NOT hector series...so thats money down the drain as I purchased 1-3 episodes of hector and loved them but now I cant play...TYPICALITY telltale not caring about their customers and all about the money.....GREED

This game is hilarious, the puzzles are hard enough to figure out but still have fun. The reason why I gave this 3 stars is b/c I expected to get more playtime out of a $4.99 game. I downloaded it last night, played it for 20 min. went to bed and finished it this morning in 1-2 hrs. So I feel ripped off. Ill probably end up buying the other episodes like the idiot I am because I enjoyed this funny but short-lived game.

I really like this game, couldnt wait until the update to be released. Went to update the 2nd episode after waiting months for it. And they want to charge a dollar more than I did for the original game? Way dissapointed. Dont purchase this app unless your committed on spending about $20 for the game and all its updates? About $5.00 every time for an update Id imagine. Couldnt the makers of this game at least offer an update at half price to the loyal customers who purchased this game when first released? I dont get it? I wont be purchasing this pricey update any time soon! Great game though, just greedy producers!!

Top-notch production values; funny, raw, a little nerdy. Excellent graphics and sound; thoroughly engaging! Im a huge adventure game fan with lots of gaming experience under my belt. This game easily made my top 3 list for the past year!

Well made game, but it is a bit short for the price.

Most solutions to the puzzles are completely illogical. Ive only advanced in this game by pure luck. Some of the solutions are so jaw-droppingly far-fetched and counter intuitive that Im astounded nobody has commented on it yet. I admire the game for its aesthetic and concept, but am finding the gameplay downright frustrating.

One of the good point and click games, not to be missed!

Its like snarky moments in classic LucasArts games (Loom, Sam & Max, Monkey Island), with a dash of luridness from Leisure Suit Larry. But better. I had to subtract one star because the app didnt show me the final cutscene the first time I played through. Otherwise, five thumbs up. P.S. The developer was responsive, professional, and humorous all at once. Hector 2 and 3 are definitely winners too.

Wife and I really enjoyed it. A bit short, but worth the buck. Very funny!

Definitely amusing. This is the only game of this type that Ive played so far that has been so gritty. A lot of dialogue which is fine, but in comparison to the length of the game and amount of puzzles, the dialogue consumes far more of the game. I definitely expected it to be longer for $5. The puzzles were a mix of some that were easy, and others that were difficult (but not so difficult that I needed to refer to a walkthrough which was nice). In fact, the easy ones were too easy. For the length of the game, they couldve at least made them more challenging. I plan on buying episode 2, which the developers claim is twice a long. Im going to be pissed if it isnt. Still a cool game though.

Played all three episodes, the second one is by far the best. Overall the series is a hit. Good to play something that is different and change things up a bit and thats exactly what this game and the series does. Just to warn you new comers once you buy the first one its almost impossible not to buy the other two.
